HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
The House of Hope and all of it's Staff would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to all of the local businesses, the people, and the Community in general for making our Annual Thanksgiving Dinner such a success! With the help of some highly motivated volunteers and the generous assistance of local business we were able to feed over 50 people...and still have some left-overs (which we all love so much!).
The food was just incredible! The staff of the House of Hope and many of our clients pitched in to do all the cooking and prep work, with some working straight through the night. The results were delicious! We had a variety of local and family recipes which made for an excellant selection for all walks of life
The event was held in our Coggeshall Street Meeting Hall and was open to walk-in's. The meal was served buffet style and we had ample tables and seating for all in attendance. The only thing missing was our own Adam Goncalo and his guitar to entertain our guests (rest up Adam...the next holiday is just around the corner!).
The day was spent with people meeting new people and enjoying great food all in a very homey atmosphere. A resounding success no matter how you look at it!! |
