Dec. 25, 2009 - Our Christmas Pot Luck Dinner was held with great success again this year. We were also able to feed and distribute gifts to the needy in our area again this year due to the generosity of area merchants and individuals who wanted to help spread goodwill to others during this holiday season. The Beit Tikvah "House of Hope" would like to express their gratitude to all those who wre able to donate goods, services, and their time to helping make this holiday season a bit easier for those who were unable to help themselves.
Nov. 14, 2009 - The show by local artist (our very own) Adam Goncalo show went on as planned last night with a very satisfactory turnout. Adam played one very energetic acoustic set off his upcoming debut CD entitled "The Art of Suffering", and it was met with great approval by the guests and the local community. We at the House of Hope pray we can pursuade Adam to perform for us again in the future, and we would like to take this moment to thank him, and his crew, for their time, effort, and for sharing his skills with us in what was a very enjoyable evening for all. THANK YOU ADAM!!

Sept. 17, 2009 - House of Hope has spent the last 3 months transitioning locations. We have moved our offices and the majority of our housing to 209 Coggeshall St. in New Bedford. It has been a time of many trials, but the reward is already evident in many ways.
Our new location offers many conveniences that we were lacking before. We currently accomodate up to 24 clients in the main building and will be able to accomodate approximately 27 in the ancillary buildings. This will allow a total of 51 bed availability. We look forward to the use of our new buildings, which includes an increased amount of seperate office space and a very nice meeting hall.
